Laser Hair Removal Technician 100 Treatment Practicum
Objective: Students have the opportunity to perform their first 100 treatments at All About Beauty Academy with live models under the direct supervision of a Registered Senior or Professional Laser Hair Removal Technician. Completing this practicum allows students to expedite their registration as Certified Laser Hair Removal Technicians with TDLR.
Main Skills to Be Developed:
Comprehensive understanding of light application for safe hair removal.
Conducting effective client consultations.
Tailoring treatments to individual skin types.
Addressing pre-and-post treatment protocols.
Gaining insights into practice setting considerations.
Class Duration: Approximately 4-5 hours total. Scheduling can be done via phone.
Admission Criteria:
Be currently licensed as a Laser Hair Removal Apprentice-In-Training.
Minimum age of 18 at application.
Next Steps Post-Practicum: Upon completion, you will receive a Laser Hair Removal Supervised Apprentice Affidavit and a state application to send to TDLR for obtaining your Laser Hair Removal Technician License. After receiving your Laser Hair Removal Certification, you will be eligible to do you 100 treatments to become a Senior Laser Hair Removal Technician.
Payment Options:
Full tuition fee can be paid at time of registration; or
Pay a $300 non-refundable deposit and call the school to set-up an interest free payment plan. Full payment must be made prior to access being given to online materials and classroom teaching.
Refund Policy: All hybrid courses are non-refundable and non-transferable once access is granted.
Rescheduling: Changes to hands-on class schedules must be communicated via email at least five business days in advance, or a $50 rescheduling fee will apply.
