100 Treatment Practicum

Objective:
Students have the opportunity to perform their first 100 treatments at All About Beauty Academy with live models under the direct supervision of a Registered Senior or Professional Laser Hair Removal Technician. Completing this practicum allows students to expedite their registration as Certified Laser Hair Removal Technicians with TDLR.

Main Skills to Be Developed:

• Comprehensive understanding of light application for safe hair removal.
• Conducting effective client consultations.
• Tailoring treatments to individual skin types.
• Addressing pre-and-post treatment protocols.
• Gaining insights into practice setting considerations.

Class Duration:
Approximately 4-5 hours total. Scheduling can be done via phone.

Admission Criteria:

• Completion of a state-approved 40-hour laser hair removal training.
• Minimum age of 18 at application.

Tuition Fee:
Tuition for the 100 Treatment Practicum is $625

Policies and Conditions:

• Payment Options:
  • Full tuition fee can be paid at time of registration; or
  • Pay a $200 non-refundable deposit and call the school to set-up an interest free payment plan. Full payment must be made prior to access being given to classroom teaching. 
• Refund Policy: This course is non-refundable and non-transferable once access is granted.
• Rescheduling: Changes to hands-on class schedules must be communicated via email at least five business days in advance, or a $50 rescheduling fee will apply.

Cancellations and Rescheduling:

• Rescheduling requires email notification at least five business days prior.

Next Steps Post-Practicum:
Upon completion, you will receive log sheets and a state application to send to Texas for obtaining your Senior Technician License. After receiving your Senior License, you can pursue the Professional Laser Technician test.
